A house boy to former failed politician in the state who is widely known as a serial blackmailer, Iniobong John has mocked former governor of Akwa Ibom State and now Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio for donating outdated cars, wheel barrows, tricycles, etc to constituents after looting the state dry. Speaking with this correspondent on phone, Mr. John said that it is shameful for Senator Godswill Akpabio to loot Akwa Ibom State dry and shamefully donated 1980 cars, wheel barrow, tricycles, etc, to his constituents. According to John, "the people of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District deserves more than what Sen. Akpabio is dishing out as empowerment after he went home with billions of tax payers money." COURT ORDERS SENATOR AKPABIO'S MAN TO PAY N1.5B NAIRA DAMAGES TO GOV EMMANUEL WITH PUBLIC APOLOGY

* A High Court sitting at Uyo Judicial Division has ordered an associate of Senator Godswill Akpabio to pay the sum of N1.5 Billion N aira ( One Billion , Five Hundred Million Naira ) as cost of damages to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Deacon Udom Emmanuel over libelous publications in an online newspaper by the defendant. The said Order was made in Suit No: HU/279/2019 between Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel ( Claimant ) V Leo Ekpenyong Esq. ( Defendant ) in the High Court of Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria in the Uyo Judicial Division Holden at Uyo. Recalled that on September 11, 2019, the National Assembly Elections Petitions Tribunal sitting in Uyo had upheld the election of Senator Chris Ekpenyong, against the petition brought before it by defeated Senator Akpabio.
