Abigail Isaac Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly has directed its joint Committees on Education, and Works/Transport to carry out an on-the-spot-assessment of abandoned deeply excavated gully at the State College of Education, Afaha Nsit and to make possible recommendations to the House within one month interval. Aniekan Bassey earlier today at plenary, mandated the Committees following a motion on the "Concern Over Deeply Excavated Gully Abandoned in Akwa Ibom State College of Education, Afaha Nsit: A Call for Immediate Intervention to Avert Disaster" moved by Hon.
