It is 66 days since we recorded the first set of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Akwa Ibom State. Over this period, we have deployed all reasonable resources; financial and material, within our disposal to contain the surge of COVID-19 in our state. We have also navigated the learning curve acquiring valuable lessons in the process. AKHA Committees on Education and Works to Inspect Gully Erosion At State College

Abigail Isaac Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly has directed its joint Committees on Education, and Works/Transport to carry out an on-the-spot-assessment of abandoned deeply excavated gully at the State College of Education, Afaha Nsit and to make possible recommendations to the House within one month interval. Governor Udom Emmanuel has formally flagged off a farmers' enumeration exercise in Akwa Ibom state with a charge on people to take agricultural activities as serious business. The State Chief Executive assured that with such cooperation, agriculture would become a major driver of the state's economy thereby bringing to an end, the over-dependence on government for survival.
