SEN. ANIETIE OKON CELEBRATES DR. NWODO AT BIRTHDAY

 A pioneer National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP and one of the founding members of the party, Sen. Anietie Okon has felicitated with the former National Secretary and former governor of Enugu State, Dr. OKWESILIEZE NWODO on his 70 birthday.

On his post on Facebook, Sen. Okon described Dr. NWODO as being devoted to the growth of the democracy in Nigeria and helped to build democratic edifice of the Peoples Democratic Party.

He said, "Hearty Felicitations to a great Nigerian Patriot., DR OKWESILIEZE NWODO. Together we built the democratic edifice of the PDP.

He further stated that Dr. Nwodo is visionary and has served as a role model to others. He therefore prayed God to continue to perfect his work in his life as he turn 70.

"You have been a visionary, and a role model. May our Good Lord continue to perfect his works in your life as you turn 70 today.

Court Jails Two Internet Fraudsters, Convicts Another

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan Zonal Office has secured the conviction of two internet fraudsters, namely: Rasak Olayinka Balogun and Ayodeji Oluwaseun Olatona, who all pleaded guilty to separate one-count charge of criminal impersonation. Balogun Razaq Olayinka The offence runs contrary to Section 22 (2) (b) (i) of Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention etc.) Act, 2015 and punishable under Section 22 (2) (b) (iv) of the same Act. While Balogun was sentenced to seven months jail term by Justice Mohammed Abubakar of the Federal High Court, Abeokuta, Olatona had his date with Justice Patricia Ajoku of the Federal High Court, Ibadan, who sentenced him to six months imprisonment.
