The Teachers Speak: Impact of Inoyo Toro Foundation 12 Years On

CYPRIAN PATRICK

Mr. Cyprian Patrick is a Chemistry teacher at Community Secondary School, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state and a beneficiary of the Inoyo Toro Foundation. According to him, he is one of the luckiest beneficiary of the Inoyo Toro Foundation award.

Having received the award in three episodes - 2009, 2010 and 2012; he said the award has impacted positively on his life as the cash money of five hundred thousand naira (500,000) won as a grand mentor in 2012 was utilized to gain admission for a Master programme in Industrial Chemistry which he completed because of the fund. He further affirmed that the award helped him to impact on his students and other teachers he mentored giving financial aid to them to buy reading materials as well as attend conferences and workshops, as he also used part of the money to set up a multi-purpose laboratory which is very helpful to the school and students.

He concluded by appreciating the Inoyo Toro Foundation stating that he owes them the honour for the life changing experience.
