COUNCIL BOSS DONATES CAR TO IKOT UDOTA POLICE DIVISION



The Chairman of Eket local government area, Hon. Frank Archibong yesterday donated a Toyota Sienna Car to Ikot Udota Police Division in Eket to help combat crime ànd improve security in the area.
Presenting the car gift to the DPO of the Division, SP Chukwu Ikechukwu, Archibong said he need to show responsibility as the third tier of government by collaborating with the governor to combat crime and other social vices in the society.
He expressed his willingness to always support security operatives to succeed in reducing crime rate to it's bearest minimum.

Archibong reassured the Police and Eket people of his determination to ensure Eket is safer and secured. He also donated a fridge to be used at the station.

Responding, the Divisional Police Officer DPO of Ikot Udota Police Division, SP Chukwu Ikechukwu, pledged his commitment to improve on fighting criminal elements in the local government area.

We won't sleep and we will continue in the pace already established to combat crime in Eket LGA," he assured.

Present during the presentation were the Leader of Eket Legislative Council, Hon. Kufre Imo Ekpe, Eket Chapter Chairman of PDP, ObongIwaad Emmanuel Mbong, MD/CEO of Idemgh-link Group, Mr. Iniobong Idem, Member Internal Board Revenue, Elder Nse Atang, among others.
